The degree of

Master of Library and Information Science

Virtual Convocation
2020

PROFILE

Current residence: La Habra, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I have worked in the academic library field for 18 years, and this was a vital next step in my career.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My wife Faith, my family, my church small group, and my coworkers.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

from the next town over to all across the United States

What I liked best about online learning was:

connecting with people across the country, and the self-paced nature of the learning environment.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

the challenging coursework guided by caring and skilled faculty.

I plan to use my degree to:

Broaden my impact in libraries, archives, and the broader information professions.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

More time with my wife and kids.
