PROFILE

Current residence: Moorpark, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I want to advance the skills and knowledge that will make me a better communicator and asset to my students, faculty, and institution.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My family (Mom, Dad, and sister Alicia), and two of my greatest friends, Emily and Stephanie.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

Every time zone in the U.S., as well as Canada and Japan.

What I liked best about online learning was:

It allowed me to work full-time, it improved my self-discipline and time-management skills, and challenged me to learn in a new environment.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

The opportunity to work with classmates from across the country, gain valuable experience and insight from my professors, and completing an invaluable internship.

I plan to use my degree to:

Branch out and begin working towards my goal of academic librarianship.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Helping people in a new environment, using my skill set to create more opportunities for my future, and having a little bit of extra free time in the evenings to use to explore new hobbies!
