The degree of

Master of Library and Information Science

Virtual Convocation
2020

PROFILE

Current residence: Peoria, AZ, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I started working in a library and knew that it was something that I wanted to make a career out of.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

All my teachers and fellow students who helped me along the way.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

Everywhere from different countries to my own library system.

What I liked best about online learning was:

I could go at my own pace for the most part, and it was easy to plan my school work around my jobs and personal commitments.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Everything that I was able to learn that I had no idea would be something that I would be able to use in my current and future career.

I plan to use my degree to:

Become a youth librarian of some sort in the future, no matter where it takes me.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Continuing to keep up with all the new things in the library field and applying it to my current and future jobs in the library.
