I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I love working as a library assistant and want to be able to do more in the public librarian field. With this degree, I will be able to pursue a fulfilling career that allows me to inspire others.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My husband, Jared Wallace. Who encouraged me every step of the way. <br /> My coworkers and colleagues. Thank you for suggesting I pursue this degree and for being willing participants for assignments requiring real-world research. <br /> My family. You cheered me on through every class and for every deadline. <br /> My friends. Your praise motivated me to carry on.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

Across the country and even from around the world.

What I liked best about online learning was:

The ability to take my schoolwork with me anywhere and to complete work in accordance with my schedule.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Being able to register for classes with my coworkers and friends.

Pursue my career in public librarianship.
