I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I wanted to be a librarian!

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My family (especially my husband, sister, and parents) and my co-workers at libraries. And my two dogs who sat with me through many a long assignment.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the world!

What I liked best about online learning was:

Being able to get my MLIS online is the reason I was able to complete this program. As a busy mom who also works at two different libraries, being able to complete coursework from a laptop on my couch at any hour of the day or night made this program possible! I am so grateful for the flexibility of the online learning at SJSU’s iSchool!

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Every course had a practical, direct application to my work in libraries, yet also pushed me to grow.

I plan to use my degree to:

Become a children’s librarian!

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Being able to call myself a librarian, and of course, working as a librarian!
