Current residence: Brentwood, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I am passionate about this field. I wanted to be able to provide for my family with a career that would allow me to use my research skills, and help people access information.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My husband for keeping me and the kids sane.<br /> My mother-in-law for watching the kids, and giving me time to work on assignments.<br /> My parents for opening their home to me as a quiet study space.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

Throughout California, and the East Coast.

What I liked best about online learning was:

Definitely the convenience of working at my own pace and time, and not having to commute to school.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

The opportunities it provided me with. From an amazing eInternship, to my current workplace, I credit this program for allowing me to get my foot in the door.

I plan to use my degree to:

Serve the public as a Librarian or Archivist.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Sleeping, and working on personal projects.
