PROFILE

Current residence: Arleta, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I want to be able to assist my community with their information and learning needs.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

my family and friends

While in the program, I met classmates from:

California, Washington, Oregon, New Jersey, Arizona, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and many more places.

What I liked best about online learning was:

the convenience and flexibility of learning in the comfort of my own home.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

the dynamic coursework, supportive staff and my friendly peers.

I plan to use my degree to:

contribute to my community and the field of library and information science. I hope to one day work in at public library or archive.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

applying everything that I have learned from my coursework, volunteer experience and virtual internship to create opportunities and experiences that will support and promote lifelong learning.
