I always wanted to pursue a Masters degree and finally found one that fit my passion for lifelong learning.
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
My husband Marcos who was there for me throughout and provided much-needed pep talks, and my family and friends to cheered me on these past few years (esp. Jade who proofread my ePortfolio content and continuously cheered "Go Nat Go!").
While in the program, I met classmates from:
All over the U.S., Japan, and Barcelona.
What I liked best about online learning was:
The flexibility of the online platform and ability to access my coursework wherever I had internet access. I loved that I could choose classes and craft my program to my interests.
What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:
That I was able to apply, what I learned in my classes directly to my job at a public library. The quality of my work and my passion for my job has increased greatly.
I plan to use my degree to:
Help my community. I look forward to using my knowledge to encourage others in their search for information, truth, and understanding.
Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:
Spending more time with friends and family and reading for pleasure.
