PROFILE

Current residence: Reno, NV, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I want to be able to mix my passions of reading, researching and helping people into one profession.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My husband Taylor, little sister Alexis, older sister Rachel and older brother Mark. Couldn't have survived without their encouragement!

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the country!

What I liked best about online learning was:

I could complete the course at my own pace. I had to juggle many things, like work and hobbies. It was nice to not be stuck sitting in a classroom, and do work at home.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Learning transferable and applicable skills. This program taught me lessons that could actually be applied to my career.

I plan to use my degree to:

Work as an academic librarian, hopefully within my University makerspace.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Using my skills learned to make an impact on the field.
