I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

after building a career in marketing, I wanted to pivot professionally to work that I found more engaging and rewarding.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

my husband and my children. They took care of me and our household so that I could focus on my coursework.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

around the globe.

What I liked best about online learning was:

the flexibility.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

the opportunities to explore new concepts in a hands-on and supportive environment.

I plan to use my degree to:

promote the preservation of visual and cultural resources, and the open access of information for the benefit of society.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

spending time with my family and reading for pleasure.
