PROFILE

Current residence: Winters, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I have a passion for books, learning and promoting literacy.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My husband, Lonnie and my coworkers.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the world!

What I liked best about online learning was:

Flexibility. I was able to balance school with my work and family obligations.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Meeting new people that share similar interests and learning valuable new skills that I will carry with me throughout my career.

I plan to use my degree to:

Continue working in a public library and possibly pursue opportunities in medical librarianship or special libraries.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Having more time to read a variety of fiction books!
