PROFILE

Current residence: Riverside, CA, US

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My friends and family, especially: Mom, Dad, Diane, Franki(e)es, THANK YOU!!
Ralf and the Curlyheads, primas, Jeff, Jared, Chelsea, Meg, Marisa, Rachel, Kris, Gus, Heidi, Erin, Allison, Cory, Kate, the Acebedo's and Drew --- Thank you all for your encouragement, support, and for letting me (or making me) do my work (even when it made me cry) AND for still inviting me to watch movies, making time for me, and forcing me to take time off when I needed a break.
I love all of you and have appreciated you more than you know.

What I liked best about online learning was:

Being able to do things at my own pace and balance school with my unpredictable work schedule. Online learning was the only way I would ever had been able to make 'going back to school' possible and I'm grateful to have had this opportunity.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Learning about how libraries serve different communities, in the U.S. and internationally. There are so many innovative and creative librarians and library services. Learning from others and working with people across the United States, and around the world, was such a wonderful opportunity to hear about challenges and successes of peers, faculty, and colleagues working in many different environments.

I plan to use my degree to:

Help people. I look forward to working in a public library and assisting anyone who seeks knowledge, to pursue their interests, and by promoting life-long learning.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Recreational reading, going to the beach all summer, and saying YES to every social gathering and travel opportunity!!
