I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I was ready to pursue a new line of work, and was excited about combining my background in social services with librarianship.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My mom (Anne), dad (Dave), sister (Cori), brother (Jon), friend Sarah, and husband Carlos.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the US!

What I liked best about online learning was:

Having the ability to pursue higher education with the flexibility that I needed to be able to move, and help with the caretaking of my mom.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Learning about information freedom and the opportunities that librarians have to protect these rights.

I plan to use my degree to:

Work in outreach librarianship.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Having some time to relax and settle into my new career.
