I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I wanted to pursue a career in Special Collections and Rare Books with a research library. The MLIS will complement my other specialist degrees (an MA and Ph. D).

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My wonderful Mother, who kept me going!

While in the program, I met classmates from:

Many places - West Coast, East Coast, even Europe.

What I liked best about online learning was:

The flexibility in working on my own time; I'm a confirmed night owl, and I prefer late night learning.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Learning about new technologies and instructional platforms.

I plan to use my degree to:

Work in an academic library special collections/rare books/archives.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Starting the job hunt!
