I have wanted to be a librarian since high school. After working first in circulation and then eight years in cataloging, I decided to go back to school and get my bachelor's and then master's degrees in Library and Information Science. I love my work in the public library setting and, with my MLIS, I am planning on a life-long career in cataloging/metadata and technical services.

One of the things I enjoyed most at SJSU was the variety of classes offered for the library graduate program. This is one of the main reasons I chose SJSU for my graduate school.
