PROFILE

Current residence: Hillsboro, OR, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I felt that I wanted to be a librarian since the 2nd grade and I have been working in libraries since 2001. It is my dream job and I loved pretty much every minute of earning my masters!

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My family! They always understood my commitment and championed me on. I should also shout out to my hard working laptop; you did good!

While in the program, I met classmates from:

Canada, North Carolina, Florida, Wisconsin, Illinois and of course California!

What I liked best about online learning was:

The ability work at my pace and with my learning style. I could have 1 million tabs open on my browser and peruse the information at my leisure.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

I enjoyed the excitement each teacher and student brought to the class. The teachers are always planning ways to bring about interaction and discussion and the student respond with true consideration. I will miss that most.

I plan to use my degree to:

Become a librarian and expand access to knowledge that improved peoples lives and expands their worldview.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Learning Spanish in the fall. ¡Muy Bien!
