PROFILE

Current residence: Anacortes, WA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I wanted to build a strong foundation in my teaching practices and in building a library curriculum and collection to benefit my school.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My husband, children, and parents.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

California, Oregon, the East Coast, and the South.

What I liked best about online learning was:

I loved the autonomy of online learning, the flexibility, and the challenging coursework.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Building connections, knowledge and practical abilities.

I plan to use my degree to:

be a better teacher, librarian, and to use my knowledge to help my district build a strong library program and collection.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Using my knowledge to build life long learners and life long literacy.
