Current residence: Oakland, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I am committed to the profession of librarianship, and wanted to assure I was performing my job duties to the standards of the profession.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My husband, my three daughters, my chosen family and my family.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over California and some from the East Coast.

What I liked best about online learning was:

The flexibility.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Deepening my understanding of librarianship and going through the e-portfolio process, giving me an appreciation of all that I learned during these years.

I plan to use my degree to:

Work as a school librarian, and continue to improve my practice consistently.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Spending more free time with my family and friends, getting more exercise, being outside as much as possible.
