PROFILE

Current residence: Chula Vista, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

For representation and to be the first in my family to get a Master Degree

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My best friend, RoseAnita, and her husband Rayan for providing support, a home, and a chance to do better; My partner Tahiti for her love, support, motivation, and belief in my ability when I did not know my worth. My mother for all her love, support, and inspiration. My friends: Wendy, Ana, Lizzet, David, and those whom I was not able to thank for the encouragement and support.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

Canada, Korea, and the United States

What I liked best about online learning was:

The flexibility and knowing that I had all the material I needed online.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Learning about topics and meeting people from all over the world.

I plan to use my degree to:

Provide needed service to my community as a librarian.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Working as a fulltime librarian for the City of Chula Vista.
