Current residence: Santa Monica, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I am a school librarian, and I would like to work in a public library some day, particularly in the area of local history.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My friends and colleagues.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

My school district and all over the world.

What I liked best about online learning was:

It made me very comfortable with an online environment. When the pandemic hit, this enabled me to support a lot of people at the high school where I work.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Learning how to find out about anything that interests me and how to help others to do the same.

I plan to use my degree to:

Continue as a high school librarian and perhaps one day work in a public library.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Passing the subject area competency test for history teachers. Fingers crossed! I just have a bit more reading to do.
