PROFILE

Current residence: Los Angeles, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I wanted to become a teacher librarian.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

my husband, Todd; my daughter, Mya; Mom, Dad, Jules, Dave and Stacy.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

all over the U.S., but mainly throughout California.

What I liked best about online learning was:

it was convenient and I could work late at night after my full-time job.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

learning about various aspects of librarianship and the work of information professionals.

I plan to use my degree to:

help students develop strong information literacy skills and a love of reading.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

gaining more experience as a librarian and having more free time to spend with my family.
