Current residence: Long Beach, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I wanted a career that aligned with my personal values and librarianship turned out to be just that. Libraries really are one of the last free public spaces and I am so excited to be able to contribute to the field.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My wonderful family, friends and co-workers (shout out to the Palos Verdes Library District!).

While in the program, I met classmates from:

Right here in Long Beach, CA to all the way in Australia!

What I liked best about online learning was:

How convenient it is.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Getting to know other future librarians who were just as passionate as me about helping others and letting everyone know that libraries are very much alive!

I plan to use my degree to:

Diversify the world of librarianship.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Working as your local, friendly neighborhood librarian :)
