The degree of

Master of Library and Information Science

Virtual Convocation
2021

PROFILE

Current residence: Bozeman, MT, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I had already been working in libraries for several years and wanted to open up future career possibilities.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

my husband, James, and my parents, Roger and Candy.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

all over the world! In fact, when I began the program, I was living in South Korea. I have met people living in Japan, India, and all across the United States.

What I liked best about online learning was:

not having to factor in commute times.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

my classes with Professor Morgan Pershing, Dr. Leigh Gleason, and Professor Colleen Greene.

I plan to use my degree to:

work in school or public libraries, at least for the foreseeable future.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

having a little bit more free time in order to return to some of my hobbies.
