Virtual Convocation

PROFILE

Current residence: Dallas, TX, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

It would give me the tools to be the best archivist librarian.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

Family and Friends

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the United States and many different information organizations.

What I liked best about online learning was:

The ability to work at my own pace afforded by the asynchronous nature of the program.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

The supportive and nurturing culture of the library and information science profession.

I plan to use my degree to:

Be an archivist librarian, harnessing the power of technology to promote information literacy and scholarly research. by providing information accessibility, retrievability, and preservation.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Working in the industry, meeting new colleagues to work with and assist patrons and clients with their information needs. I also look forward to traveling!
