Current residence: San Francisco, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I always knew that I wanted to pursue a graduate degree, but for the longest time, I was unsure of the subject area I wanted to study. When I made the decision to become a librarian, getting the MLIS was a no-brainer.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My husband and my cat.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

Mostly fellow Californians but also students from West Virginia and Seattle.

What I liked best about online learning was:

Not having to commute from San Francisco to San Jose and the ability to work full-time while going to school.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

The hands-on nature of the program and the many electives we could choose from.

I plan to use my degree to:

Work in academic and public librarianship.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Having my weekends and evenings back!
