Current residence: Los Angeles, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I want to make a bigger contribution to the field of Library and Information Science.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My parents Blanca and Jose, my siblings Gabby, Jose and Oscar, my nephews Jonah and Josiah, my friends Daisy, Nat, Alexia and Grecia. To my right hand man, Andy and my number one distraction, Ezra, I love you!

While in the program, I met classmates from:

all over the country!

What I liked best about online learning was:

the flexibility of working whenever, wherever!

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

The community within the program, working with the same classmates throughout different courses, and working collaboratively.

I plan to use my degree to:

work in the public sector as a librarian. After years of experience, I plan to venture into different dynamics of the field. Eventually, I would like to teach students in higher education like myself.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

diving into the field and applying all the concepts and skills learned in the MLIS program.
