The degree of

Master of Library and Information Science

Virtual Convocation
2021

PROFILE

Current residence: EUREKA, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I've wanted to be a librarian since I was in elementary school. I thought my librarian had the coolest job ever, and librarians continued to be someone I could turn to when I needed help with school.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My husband, Mario, and my friends Lisa, Py, and Rania

While in the program, I met classmates from:

Almost every state, and a lot of classmates who were local to me as well!

What I liked best about online learning was:

The flexibility so that I could work and do school without worrying about being in class at specific times.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

The variety of information I learned that I never even knew existed!

I plan to use my degree to:

Help people as I was helped by my librarians.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Using my degree!
