The degree of

Master of Library and Information Science

Virtual Convocation

PROFILE

Current residence: Long Beach, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

To learn new things, and help me advance in the work place to better achieve my goal of doing library work while traveling a lot.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My mom was an incredible supporter and sounding board. The rest of my family, friends, and co-workers were also incredible support.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over the US.

What I liked best about online learning was:

I was able to do the required readings and work on my time, and still able to work a full-time job, and continue to travel.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

The fact that it was all online. Also, being able to choose what classes I took from such a large variety. I loved that there were very few required courses, and the rest of the units were all electives.

I plan to use my degree to:

Advance my career.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Having some extra me time!
