PROFILE

Current residence: Seal Beach, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I would like to make a transition in my career and utilize my education, leadership, and artistic skills to connect art, artists, with libraries and create a place where a community can come together to create, learn and connect with each other. Hopefully, work in a museum or archive.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My Family and Friends and Professor Koontz, Prof. Friedland, and Prof. Holmes. I dedicate this degree to my parents, in honor of Andrea and Janos.
Andras, David, and Jacob thank you for giving me time to study and cheering me on this journey.
Frau Bezeredy, thank you for continuously badgering me about homework and motivating me all the way! We did it!!
Avi, you believing in me, in my success, encouraged me to keep going.
While in the program, I met classmates from:

Many states across the U.S and Canada.

What I liked best about online learning was:

The variety and talent of the professors from different institutions and organizations in the US and the flexibility of accessing the information and creating a program that works for people with different scehdule.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

The many hats librarians wear and information they have to learn in order to keep up with technology, leadership, and information.

I plan to use my degree to:

My goal is to work internationally to connect libraries across the globe. Advocate for the importance of librarians and the space it provides and represents. Break the silos amongst the various library association and bring everyone together to work hand in hand for a common goal.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Getting a new job and find new opportunities. Reading for my own pleasure.
