PROFILE

Current residence: Gilbert, AZ, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I wanted to return to school and to work towards a career in librarianship.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My husband, my parents, in-laws, family, and friends. My fur kids have also been incredibly supportive, from my dogs through their demands for walks and my cats by purring me to sleep when I needed rest.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

From all around the country, as well as students from Canada and Japan.

What I liked best about online learning was:

It allowed me to continue my education with fewer barriers, especially during the pandemic. <br />

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

Learning from the experiences of my professors as well as my classmates.

I plan to use my degree to:

To change my corner of the world and help create a welcoming environment wherever I end up working.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Sleep! Besides catching up on my rest, I am looking forward to spending more time with family, whether virtually or in person.
