Master of Library and Information Science

PROFILE

Current residence: Camarillo, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

After working in a public library, I realized I wanted to pursue professional librarianship, and there was so much to learn.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My friends, family, former colleagues, and some key faculty, staff, and students. Thank you all!

What I liked best about online learning was:

The flexibility it afforded so I could manage work, home, family, etc. while pursuing my degree.

I plan to use my degree to:

Pursue a position in a public or academic library, but I’m also exploring less conventional ways of utilizing my degree.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

Being hired as an honest-to-gosh librarian. And not having any assignments hanging over my head, of course
