I enjoy learning and growing my knowledge base in many areas and I wanted to further my learning in the areas of library and information science. I would love to move from the classroom to the library as a teacher librarian and open up future possibilities in other library positions.
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
My family!
While in the program, I met classmates from:
around the world. It was great to be able to be in classes with others that lived nearby as well as classmates who lived across the country and around the world.
What I liked best about online learning was:
Being able to complete my coursework at times convenient to me and being able to manage my schedule with working full time and raising my family.
What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:
The incredible people I met- professors I got to learn from and classmates I got to collaborate with.
I plan to use my degree to:
Find a position as a teacher librarian and possibly someday to move on to an academic or public library.
Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:
Getting a job to put my degree and credential to use! And having more time to myself, to read, and to spend with my family.
