I wanted to earn a masters degree because:
I wanted to receive a MLIS because I wanted a firm understanding of the foundational principles and theories of modern librarianship and library administration so that I can offer the best library services for my community.
While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:
My greatest supporters are my family and friends. I couldn't have accomplished this without their unwavering love and support. They have always encouraged me to pursue my dreams and passions. I am who I am today because of their support!
While in the program, I met classmates from:
As an SJSU student I have had the privilege of meeting students from coast to coast and from around the world. I appreciate their influence on my educational experiences.
What I liked best about online learning was:
I value the online learning at SJSU for its ability to connect learners from around the world through engaging and collaborative learning experiences and through the use of innovative technology.
I plan to use my degree to:
I plan to continue to use my MLIS as a public library Director. I enjoy making a difference in my community through library administration.
Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:
