I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I am passionate about helping people find the information they need to improve their lives.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

my family- especially my husband and my two sons. I would not have been able to complete this program without them cheering me on.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

all over the country! I am grateful for the chance to work on projects with people from so many different places and learn from them.

What I liked best about online learning was:

being able to fit my coursework around my busy life and take my learning wherever I needed to be.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

discovering all the different ways that information science affects our lives and working

I plan to use my degree to:

make information more accessible and inclusive as a cataloging or reference librarian.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

reading more books for fun and spending more time with my family.
