I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I want to serve my local community as a librarian.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My greatest supporters were my husband and our two cats. He was there for me before I had this dream, while I was still figuring things out, and throughout the program.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

I met classmates virtually from all over, but also people who ended up becoming my colleagues and friends in person!

What I liked best about online learning was:

The pandemic didn't disrupt the logistics of the program.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

I enjoyed learning about how I can apply librarianship to what I'm passionate about and how important libraries are to the fabric of our democracy.

I plan to use my degree to:

Become a librarian!

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

I am looking forward to spending time with our first little one who's arriving just in time to watch mama get her Master's.
