PROFILE

Current residence: Woodland, CA, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

[Degree is MS in Informatics] I wanted to go in-depth and explore information science and how to better to connect people with information.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

Alana, Alyse, and Camille. They are three amazing women who never stopped encouraging me and understanding when I needed to do school work.

While in the program, I met classmates from:

all over the country, in particular Florida, California, and Washington.

What I liked best about online learning was:

that I could do everything at my own pace. It was still rigorous though, so I was fully engaged.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

learning about digital asset management, linked open data, and applying the information I learned into actual project that I could see the benefits of.

I plan to use my degree to:

further my career and do meaningful work. I would love to leverage my knowledge to get into more scientific fields and make an impact on the world through better information organization and accessibility.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

taking a small break and then exploring how I can further my knowledge and where to apply it.
