Current residence: Asheville, NC, US

I wanted to earn a masters degree because:

I was transitioning from a classroom teacher to a school librarian. Library science has always interested me and I've worked in libraries in the past.

While earning my degree, my greatest supporters were:

My husband and children!

While in the program, I met classmates from:

All over! I live in India as a teacher and it was lovely to meet and interact with folks from around the US.

What I liked best about online learning was:

The time difference between India and California isn't easy - having online classes made things so much simpler to work on my projects and my learning.

What I enjoyed most about my experience at the SJSU School of Information was:

meeting others in the program and forming relationships.

I plan to use my degree to:

continue my work as a school librarian in international schools.

Now that I have completed the program, I'm most looking forward to:

utilizing my knowledge in my job, and applying it to our library programming.
